I know this is an issue for many but I'm wondering what you have done to correct the problem.  We use Shopify for our customers to place orders which then flow through to GP.  We use Avalara to calculate the sales tax in both.  Between Shopify and GP there are often penny differences when discounts are involved.  I've done everything I can think of to correct this without luck.  The rounding in GP for tax is set to "Up to the Next Currency Decimal Digit".  I want Avalara to match our GL so when the amount we have collected from the customer doesn't match what is being calculated in GP, I manually override the tax in Avalara and add a line item in GP for the tax correction to fix the GL.  However, this is becoming extremely cumbersome. I'm sure someone has to have a better solution.  Thank you in advance for any help you can provide!

The rounding issues would most likely be reduced if the GP setting was changed to "To the Nearest Currency Decimal Digit".  This setting uses the 4/5 rule to round up or down rather than always rounding up.
