    I will be moving all GP and Integration Manager users to a pair of Terminal Servers soon as part of an upgrade to GP 2018 R2.

    I would like to build a batch that opens IM with a User's IMD file and their specific INI, with a variable path.

    IM.bat

    @echo off
    T:
    CD\Integrations\%USERNAME%
    start "" "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics\Integration Manager 12\Microsoft.Dynamics.GP.IntegrationManager.exe" Blank2.imd Microsoft.Dynamics.GP.IntegrationManager.ini
    The first part works, I can use the %USERNAME% variable to open up an IMD file.
    INI Path: C:\PROGRAM FILES (X86)\MICROSOFT DYNAMICS\INTEGRATION MANAGER 12\MICROSOFT.DYNAMICS.GP.INTEGRATIONMANAGER.INI
    Adding the "ini" to the line in the batch did not work.

    In this example, I have the Microsoft.Dynamics.GP.IntegrationManager.ini file and the Blank2.imd file in T:\Integrations\dmorinello
    The question is, can I call a Microsoft.Dynamics.GP.IntegrationManager.ini from the batch command also?

    Hi David,
    This is an interesting question which I never actually thought off... most of the time, the users just want a shared IM Database.. not an individual one :-)
    I guess you already went thru those articles:

    in particular the last link provides a hint how to use the /ini= parameter to specify the location of the IM .ini file.
