  • 1.  Access to Smartlist

    i created a new smartlist from a previous smartlist for my co-worker. She can see the smartlist but it doesn't pull any results. Apparently I need to grant her access but I've done everything I can think of to give her access. She is a power user.
    I created a security task.


    I added the task to the Accounting Manager role


    I made sure she had access to that role. She also is a POWER USER.


    What else do I need to do to allow her access to the Smartlist?

    Hi Deborah,
    How was this smartlist created ? are you using SL Builder from eOne or SL Designer (built-in to GP) ? 
    If the SmartList is based one some custom SQL view rather than existing GP tables or views, you need also to grant read permissions (select) to the view for the GP user account that wants to consume the data.
    Usually we grant the permissions to the DYNGR SQL role, which gives access to the data for all GP users that would want to use the SL in GP.

    Here's a screenshot of the Smartlist designer page that I created and the favorites screen showing it should be visible to everyone. Please walk me step by step how to allow another user to access this Smartlist.
