I have a client who implemented GL Batch Approval workflow on 2016R2. The "include document attachments" box is checked on each workflow step. I have verified that the word templates are enabled, they are NOT using a modified version of the GL Edit List. The issue is that intermittently, it does not include the edit list in the email asking the manager to approve the batch. We had their IT department run a trace on the email server to see which emails had attachments and which ones were missing the attachment.
There is no pattern that can be established. The intermittent issue happens regardless of which user is submitting the batch and regardless of which user approves the batch. The emails go through just fine, but occasionally the edit list word doc that is automatically generated when submitting the batch is missing from the email.
Does anyone have any ideas why this could be happening?
