Hi Community!

This is Jo, I am helping on the Summit planning committee!

PLEASE TURN IN ANY REQUESTS TO SPEAK (It does take a second as the form is a bit awkward this year)! 

HOWEVER, please submit your session ideas EVEN IF YOU WOULD NEED TO PRESENT REMOTELY!  

The committee is evaluating if we need to go to a hybrid form of some in-person and some remote presentations for this event, but we won't be able to gauge the interest in remote presenting UNLESS YOU TURN IN YOUR SESSION IDEA!!! - when submitting do let us know if it will be remote!

I, myself, am vaxxed and ready to see everyone in person, but we are highly aware that you or your employer may have reservations about attending an in-person event in our current environment.  Please be aware that the area the Summit is being held in is definitely safety conscious and DC is doing their level-best to make this an extremely fun, but safe event full of learning!

For your session ideas, we are PARTICULARLY interested in sessions along the theme of using GP in the 21st century. So, your presentations and or chats around topics such as:

• Using GP Remotely - safely AND easily
• Reporting from GP remotely and safely or through the 'cloud'
• Cloud-type integrations including Power Apps and Flow (CENTERED SPECIFCIALLY AROUND USE WITH GP)
• Cloud-based workflows using the Power Platform (CENTERED SPECIFCIALLY AROUND USE WITH GP)
• Power BI Specifically with GP
• Emailing from GP
• Paying Vendors through ACH with GP (How-To, Best Practices, Short Cuts, etc.)
• And just anything else you would like to present on, both from either a functional OR technical view point. 

We also need tons more sessions around GP Functionality, particularly in these areas:

• GP Project Accounting
• GP Manufacturing (HOT)
• GP Field Service
• GP SmartLists (GP Only - no third party)
• Excel Refreshable Reporting (out of the box, no third party) 
• GP Integration tips and tricks with all of the common tools - SmartConnect, Integration Manager, Macros, eConnect
• Emailing in GP
• GP Payroll (HOT)

Bear in mind DC are still determining the best methods for remote presentations, but EVEN if you will be there in person, do submit some ideas around #DynGPInthe21stCentury!

I'm late to submit session suggestions for the NA Summit 2021, the main reason being that I'm not sure I'll attend in person.. living outside of the US is a major reason possibly, as travel restrictions still apply and may still apply this fall.. the other being still not having gotten a shot yet.
I'll scratch my head and submit a few suggestions which I think might attract some interests.. the committee will decide if they are worth presenting. I'd love the idea of a remote presentation, which I'm sure would make a lot of other would-be presenters or participants more likely to register for this year.
Let's get #DynGPInthe21stCentury!
