A calculated field can be created within Report Writer to mask the bank account number and print the last 4 characters.  Below are the details of how I was able to accomplish this in the past.

    Create the first calculated field

    1. In the Report Definition window, click Layout.

    2. In the Toolbox window, click Calculated Fields, and then click New.

    3. In the Name field, type DASTRIP1.

    4. In the Result Type list, click String.

    5. In the Expression Type area, click Calculated.

    6. Click the Functions tab.

    7. Click System-Defined.

    8. In the Function list, click STRIP, and then click Add.

    9. Click the Fields tab.

    10. In the Resources list, click Direct Deposit Employee Deposit Work.

    11. In the Field list, click DD Array12 Account Number, and then click Add.

    12. You will also have to enter the array index. Enter 1 for the first calculated field that you created. Repeat for all DD Array12 Account Number array fields. 12 fields exist. However, if each employee only has one DD account, follow this step one time. The first calculated field will be displayed as follows:

    STRIP (ddDeposits.DD Array12 Account Number[1])

    Create the second calculated field

    1. In the Toolbox window, click Calculated Fields, and then click New.

    2. In the Name field, type DA1.

    3. In the Result Type list, click String.

    4. In the Expression Type area, click Calculated.

    5. Click the Functions tab.

    6. Click User-Defined and select System as the Core.

    7. In the Function list, click RW_Right, and then click Add.

    8. Click the Fields tab.

    9. In the Resources list, click Calculated Fields.

    10. In the Field list, click DASTRIP1, and then click Add.

    11. Click the Constants tab.

    12. Select a type of integer and enter a constant of 4, and then click add. Repeat for all DASTRIP calculated fields created. The first calculated field will be displayed as follows:

    FUNCTION_SCRIPT( RW_Right DASTRIP1 4)

    Hopefully this solves your request.
