Hello fellow GPUG members.  In just a few weeks the Power Platform World Tour will be in DC.  I'll be conducting a full day Introduction to Power BI Class on Tuesday 3/3/2020.  You do not have to attend the conference to attend the class.  This will be a small class AND the sample data is GP data, so it'll be super relevant to all of you. #BIandReporting #PowerBI

Here is the Link https://www.powerplatformworldtour.com/ppworldtour/locations/washingtondc/register-washingtondc  It's the last class listed:   Academy Training: Getting Started with Power BI.

If you are already a Power BI nut, there is also a DAX class and a Power Automate/Power Apps class.

If 4 GPUG members attend the class, I'll provide attendees with a half day remote class, continuing the learning of Power BI!  Why?  I love GPUG!

The event is also worthwhile attending, especially since it's in your backyard.  It's a tiny and personal Summit just on the Power Platform, who wouldn't love it!

What about newbies – never used it – always wondered about it.

    Thanks,

Of course.  I still love my GP people, even though I am now predominately involved in the Power Platform.  This classes uses Sales data (from SOP) mostly.  I would strongly suggest you attend the World Tour as well.  The ROI for Power Apps and Power Automate is well over 300% in 3 years.  I did one small implementation that saved enough money in 2 months to pay for the development fees and the licenses for a year.

This is a class for newbies.  Pure Introduction.  I usually say it's A-M, leaving out a few letters due to the time restriction.  If there is something special you want to see, we can include it in Part 2 perhaps, or maybe even the full day.
