  • 1.  Dynamics GP Purchase order template not printing all the lines in the PO

    Good day,

    I'm new here so I'm not sure if I'm posting to the right group.

    I need assistance with my Dynamics GP word template for Purchase orders (PO). I don't know if anyone has experienced or heard about this before. 
    My PO  template SOMETIMES doesn't email all the lines in the PO. So If I have 10 PO's with maybe 14 lines each, I can email 9 PO's without any issues and the 10th PO would only email the first 7 lines or the last 7 lines in the PO. Please note that this happens once in a while.
    When I try to print the PO without emailing it, it would print fine without any missing lines.

    Please let me know if you need further clarity on this.
    Your assistance in this regard will be highly appreciated.

    No, It's occurring on the Microsoft word template not the standard report.

    I wonder if there have been any office patches applied, since the problem doesn't occur in GP, there is something happening at the Office Add-in connector level.

     

    What version of GP?

     

    There is a known issue but, it was fixed in the GP 2018 R3?

    There is a known issue with Office affecting all GP clients on older version of GP. It may be on and off but will stop working October 1st so please read our latest blog about it:

    Hi Guys,

    Thanks for your help.
    There is probably something I removed when modifying my template.
    When I tested with the original template(not modified), the issue disappeared.

    Before October 1, 2022, companies not on the latest version of Dynamics GP will likely experience disruptive email outages. Microsoft may temporarily disable 'basic authentication' on a client's Office 365 to provide a notification that this change is coming later this year. 
    Please read our blog for more details so you are not having issues on October 1st.
