Is it possible to set up the ability to select a range of checks to make a bank deposit that post to the bank reconciliation?​

Hi Lisa,

Yes, Dynamics GP has ability to select rang of checks to make a deposit like a lump sum deposit.

In this scenario I have two cash receipts to deposit, mark them and click Post.

Thank you for your response.  I understand how to click and add multiple items to make the deposit.  I guess I should have been more specific as my issue is that we can have several hundreds of items that make up one deposit, so clicking each item one at a time is time consuming.  If I had the ability to select a range it would save me a lot of time.  Thank you  ​

Take a look at this feature. We pre-create a cash receipts batch for each deposit.  (We have 100s of cash receipts in a day that make up a single deposit) Then when the batch posts we get one deposit per batch. It takes some process training as the Cash Receipt batches now become equal to the deposits.

If for some reason this does not work for your process, I'll tell you what we did before GP2016 because no one wants to go in and click a thousand cash receipts to create a single bank deposit. Same deal in cash apply, we have one customer who makes $250k payments covering 10,000 SOP invoices. No one wants to go into Apply Sales Docs and click 10,000 boxes!
