Lagging how? During GP Startup, opening certain GP screens, SmartLists? Certain times of the day?
Isolate the issue from Terminal Services. RDP directly to the server, log into GP, and record some times where slow GP process was most noticeable. Repeat for a user logged in as normal from Terminal services.
Once you have identified if the problem is Terminal Services or not, you can focus on SQL level and network level causes. Find a way to test for both.
We had a(n internally) famous slowdown a few years back that was blamed on large SmartLists. It turned out another department ran some backups and other processes that brought the network to a crawl.

We are having issues with GP lagging or slowing down recently. Usually when we add sever space it speeds back up. We added server space a few weeks ago and are still experiencing slowness. We are on a terminal server if that means anything! Has anyone experienced this and what have you done to fix it?
