Depending upon what you want to do, there is a way to create charts and graphs.

Here is a link to a video: https://community.dynamics.com/gp/b/gpvideos/posts/management-reporter-2012-precision-charting.

Hi @Bari Fulton. Yes, you can add charts and graphs to any MR report after you generate it and are viewing it in the Report Viewer. You cannot add charts and graphs in the Report Designer application or in the Web Viewer.

Right-click on on any column or row of numbers, select that column or row and the icons in the menu bar for charts and graphs should become active.

If you need further help, email me at noah.moseley@msxgroup.com. Have a great day.

...and Mgt Rpt will only graph a single row or single column of data.  So for more robust graphing requests of customers I will have a MgtRpt report I export to ExcelFile1 and have a second Excel file link to that first Excel file (outside MR viewer but still able to produce more robust graphs you may want).

I've been using the free version of Jet Reports lately for a lot of financials and you can certainly add your charts/graphs with it and then just Run the report. Jet is an add-on to Excel, so you get the power of Excel without having to generate an MR report and then export it - and its FREE! (they have a paid version also) I've also done what Derek suggested below which has worked well

    Hi @Bari Fulton

@Sally Higgins is on the money.

If you are looking for easily generated KPI's or Charts you'll want to look into the Excel-Integrated reporting tools.

Jet Reports basic is free and awesome but does not do consolidated reporting, so if you need this for just one company you are golden and should contact them.  They are what Microsoft is touting as the replacement for MR.

There is also ActivReporter, BI360 and a number of others that can get you what you are looking for.

If that won't work, look into building Excel Refreshable Reports for free - you already own the tech needed for this.   If you have any questions on Excel Refreshables I did a webinar on it which you can find here on GPUG.

As always you guys are welcome to reach out to me individually with any questions on things like this.

You can also reach out to me if you have questions on Jet or Refreshable reports. There are some great tools out there! I've used BI360 and really like it, but it can be expensive. You can always try the free version of Jet then look at upgrading it if it doesn't meet your needs
