Our business is looking for a report that will make it easier for tracking product when their is a recall. Is their a can report in GP that would provide this functionality?

The output data would need to be something like the below,

LOT #     QTY LOT # PRODUCED    QTY LOT # ON HAND

This would give the amount of each lot # produced and the amount of each lot # still in warehouse.

LOT #     INVOICE #           QTY OF LOT # ON INVOICE           CONSIGNEE (SHIP TO)

This would give us the customers that received the affected products by lot #.

    Hi @George Sheppard,
I don't believe any such report exists in GP.. but you may want to start with @Victoria Yudin 's blog post about Item list with Serial Numbers.

@George Sheppard check out the template downloads through eOne. There are a couple lot related SLB and ERB templates available through their site (for free). Even if they aren't exactly what you're looking for, they may give you a good head start in the right direction to customizing from there.

    Hi George,

In terms of the first request and the amount of each lot # still in the warehouse.  That would just be the Inventory Stock Status report.  There is an option to print serial/lot information on that report.  We have also modified that report to include lot attributes for other customers in the past, otherwise you will see total quantity on hand and then the individual lot numbers and lot quantities that make up that item's total quantity on hand.

For the amount of each lot# produced/sold and the the customers that received the affected products by lot #, that is just the standard GP Serial/Lot Trace Inquiry from the inventory inquiry menu.  Take a look at that report as there are a variety of report variations from that serial/lot trace inquiry.

If that is not enough, then you can also look into Horizons International's Quality Essentials Suite that has expanded features for Lot Management and Lot Attributes.
