Analytical Accounting User Access

We recently tried to assign analytical accounting to a user. We gave them the AA manager role and the AA Clerk roles. Unfortunately Analytical accounting is not showing up when she logs in.
We do not have any user restrictions on our AA and the user is logging out and logging back in each time we try to grant the access.
    Any thoughts?

    So doing some troubleshooting here....

    1. Can other users Access AA from that same computer?
If No - Is AA install on that computer? (Inside Dynamics.set there is Dictionary# 3180 AA.dic and Reports AA3180R.dic etc)

If yes, then you have an issue with the user security...
(Assuming the user has logged out and then back in - Just need to ask...)

If so, try adding a different user to AA roles and see if there is an issue on this user.

    Hi @Linda Stumpf,
I concur with @Kerry Hataley.. If you're able to login with the 'sa' or 'DYNSA' account on this GP client and see the AA module, than it's a security issue. If you do't see it, than it's likely that the AA module wasn't installed on this GP client.
Simply go into the Control panel and use the 'change' option on the Dynamiccs GP client installation to select / add the AA module to the setup. Don't forget to re-apply any service pack that might have been run post-initial GP client setup.

    Linda,
You'll need to go into GP and assign the usre access to the Transaction Dimension codes.

TOOLS> Set Up > Company > Analytical Accounting > User Access

Then assigns the codes in the following screen by user ID

    Hope this helps.

    Thank you everyone!
We determined that AA had not been properly installed on the individual's work station.
It is now installed and all is well.
