Is there a setting in GP PR 2018 for the Calculated Checks Report to summaries each employees hours instead of listing the hours by day?

    Lorie,

No you would have to create a modified version of that report and if memory serves correctly it a bit of a bear to deal with.  What I typically do is have Smartlists and Refreshable Excel reports that contain the data from the Calculate Checks process and instead of the user potentially printing that Calc Check Report they run the Calc Process and then check their Smartlists and Excel reports for any issues/items that require corrections (i.e. employee's with no fed/state tax wh, etc.).

The Calc Tables contain lots of great data that is easily reported on from Smartlist Builder, Excel Refreshables or SSRS without much effort.  The UPR102.. Series tables are a great starting point.

Even with these other reporting tools though I always tell the customer to print that Calc report to a pdf and save it somewhere each week in case they ever need to go back since the Smartlist, Excel and SSRS reporting options get cleared out once the checks are posted.

    Hi Wally,

I am sorry when you say Refreshable Excel Reports due you mean SQL reports? I am not familiar with the term Refreshable Excel reports.
