Smartlist Issues with SOP30300

Our partner recently combined the sales order header & line detail history from another GP company into our main GP company growing the data set significantly.  After this was done any Smartlist run against the line detail (SOP30300) will hang and never complete.  Smartlists run against the SOP30200 run fine.  My suspicion is that the process of bringing in the other company's data corrupted a record(s) in SOP30300.  My question is to inquire if there is a way to determine what is causing the Smartlist to fail, and if it is a corrupted record(s), is there a way to identify that record(s)

How manty records in your SOP30300 table? It the SmartList an out of the box one, or a TSQL based custom one? Post the SQL for us to see, if so?

If you believe there is bad data, try running that SmartList that is having trouble. Running half the list, then the other half (filter by date or ???)
    • Did one succeed and the other fail? If both failed, there may be more than one problem row.
    • Split the one that failed in half and try again.
    • Do this several times and you should be able to narrow down to a bad row. Review that row in SQL for any obvious bad data.

Do you have a test environment where you can restore a backup of your data?  If you suspect data corruption you can run checklinks on Sales History, then review the reported findings.  But I would not do that in production without a test run first.
