  • 1.  Sales All-in-One View - Not Returning All Records

    I know @Shawn Dorward covered this feature at GPUG Summit last year. I just can't figure out why it isn't working for my client. Any ideas?

    I have a client that reported that the Sales-All-In-One View is not returning current records. One of their largest customers only shows invoices up until 2013. They recently upgraded to GP2018.

    When I run SmartList, they have lots of recent invoices:

    Invoice List
    When I connected and tried changing the filters, no matter what I did, only old invoices showed. I changed the filter to Document Date is "Greater Than" 01/01/18 and still no current invoices are returned. I turned off all other document types and still...nothing:

    Sales All-in-One
    I clicked on the filter/funnel to check if there was a wacky filter...but there isn't.

    ​Hi Amber,

    We had opened a case about this issue with Microsoft.  There is a Top 100 in the select statement for the all in one viewer - to help with the performance of the data returned.  I believe it unions Open and then history.  The first recommendation was if we want to see all of open (we were inquiring about sales all-in-on viewer) to make sure they are running paid transaction removal and then some of history would be missing.  That didn't help with the reason for their searches so then we were given a script to change it to the top 500.  I'm sure that could be modified to an even higher number, but we utilized to the script as it was sent.

    Hi John
    Could you please send me that script to modify maximum output in All-In-One. I am also in need. I am the DBA on our system and our consultant doesn't always get this changed when we need it updated. Obviously, with all software updates like we just did, the stored procedures and any modifications to tables overwrite those customizations and we just updated and lost some of these customizations. Your assistance in this matter would be wonderful.

    We just started to us GP2016 in March of 2018 and we are having the same issue. What was the resolution? We would like to expand this to 500 and the most current sales orders. Thanks Duane
