eConnect issues after upgrade to Windows 10

    Good Afternoon,
Has anyone upgraded to Windows 10 who uses eConnect bridge between MS Dynamics GP and a front end accounts receivable or other software?  eConnect works wonderfully to transfer data from our accounts receivable/membership database front end system to Dynamics GP when using Windows 7, but as soon as we upgraded to Windows 10 we are no longer able to post from our front end software to Dynamics GP.

Does your version of eConnect match your GP Version?
Check in the Event log > Applications and Service Logs >  eConnect, for any errors
Does the eConnect Service stay up and running in Services?

eConnect is a simple install with just a few clicks, perhaps try uninstalling and reinstalling?
Make sure you have a working AD account for the Service.

We were on GP 2013 until June of  last year and are now on GP 2018 R2. I can confirm that I have eConnect installed on my Windows 10 laptop, (and a few Windows 2016 Server locations)  working with no problems. The GP 2013 eConnect also worked fine as well before that.

Can you give us any more information regarding your environment, such as the GP version?

Short answer is that Windows upgrades have always been problematic and to test thoroughly before performing them.  In many cases, a clean install is preferred to an upgrade.
