Replicating a Budget ID

Is there an easy and efficient way to duplicate a Budget ID, so that changes and modifications do not impact the original version?  For example, if I have Budget ID 'Budget 2020", how can I create "Budget 2020 version 2" to make changes, but also to be able to compare Actuals vs Budget #1 vs Budget #2 in MR using different column definitions.  Thoughts?

You can use the import/export functionality in Budgets to quickly create a new budget from an existing export.

Thanks Matthew for the suggestion.  I'm more or less following these steps, I presume?

    Correct Chris!
In my previous company that was exactly how the budget manager would do it.. For every new FY she would create an annual forecast budget, and then revise it quarterly by using the annual or previous quarter and updating the numbers. So you'd end up with 4-5 budgets in GP like Budget-2019, Budget-2019-Q1, etc..

Thanks @Matthew Arp and @Beat Bucher!

Was such a painful way of mass modifiying a budget, particularly when revenue changed, COGS, Commissions and Employee taxes also had to change...  but never the less, it did work.
