Tax Schedule on RMA Credit Based on Original Sales Invoice

When receiving an RMA in the Returns Management module and creating an automatic credit, is there a way to set GP to take the Tax ScheduleID from the original Sales invoice?

    Hi @Uri Zutler

Unless you have a customization that is interfering or the Customer Ship To Address is setup wrong then it already SHOULD be bringing in the originally used Tax ID.  It will look at the original invoice's Ship To Address ID for the correct Tax ID.  If that was changed then it MIGHT be bringing in a different tax ID.

    Thanks Jo for your reply.
I looked at the original invoice and it does have the correct Tax Schedule ID on the SOP30200 record. However, we are doing things a little bit different. We have a website and we push all the invoices from the thousands of customers to GP under one customer (we are using eConnect stored procedures). The actual ship to addresses are different but we set the AddressID to PRIMARY. On the original invoice the tax looks correct. I guess when creating an RMA, GP is taking the Tax ScheduleID from the customer card and not from the original invoice? Would it make sense to create thousands of ship to addresses and link them to the customer by giving each one a different Addressid? Thanks again.
