Any suggestions for a timekeeping system that works well with GP HR/Payroll?  We  currently manually key our hourly employees into a transaction batch in GP. I am looking for a timekeeping system which would allow the employee to enter hours and payroll to be able to export/import hours from the timekeeping system into GP.

    Hello Lori,

We use Greenshades for our timekeeping and employee portal.  We have been with them since 2012.

NHS has been using Unitime which was acquired by Empowertime (acquired by Kronos in 2016) for some time now.
it is pretty straight forward, but I am not sure how long it would stay on the market.
I recall SIERRA Workforce Solutions (www.SierraWS.com) demoed @ Summit Nashville and it looked pretty neat.  Nice interface and feed into GP.
    thx.

We currently use ADP for our Timekeeping system, and have used them for the past 12 years (approx).  Here at the City of Plantation, we have 800+ employees, with approximately 300 employees utilizing timeclocks to enter their time, and the rest have a desktop application to enter their time.  The system integrates very well with the GP system,  considering the fact that we have a very robust (i.e. complicated) set of pay codes, vacation types, rules, etc.  Their support is excellent.  Overall our experience with them is superior.

I've done quite a bit of research on this.  We have a lot of manual entry.  We plan to implement by year end.

Here are the vendors I've found that have integrations Microsoft Dynamics GP.  Varying price points.
    • Timeclock Plus - we are most interested in this company.  They are very flexible with work rules...out-of-the-box.
