Credentialing Exams

I am currently an end-user of GP and I am VERY INTERESTED in expanding my GP skill set so I downloaded the resources for the credentialing exam prep...well first hitch in my plan came when I went to the Dynamics Learning Portal and realized I did not qualify for 'access' to said portal...

Is there a way to GET that access as an end-user or are those resources unavailable to that particular segment of the GP world?

I wouldn't feel too disappointed about it being a partner-only site (assuming it is) because there are only 5 training courses listed for Dynamics GP.  One is for GP 2016, two for GP 2015 and two for GP 2013. I doubt you would find much there to help you with your test.  No courses or training exist beyond 2016 and I don't think Microsoft is making any new ones.  I would say GPUG has loads more training on GP than Microsoft does at this point.

Your best source is probably the Microsoft Dynamics GP Directory on CustomerSource.  Here you will find the New Feature Blog Series for each release which includes Install, Upgrade and What's New Guides.  Also take a look at the excellent Hands On series that Ian Grieve posts on his blog, Azure Curve.

    Hi Theresa.

My advise to you would be to print off the list of subjects tested on and then get yourself access to a GP test company with proper security that will allow you to play around and practice.  Use the GPUG webinars for help as well when needed.

Reach out if you have any questions.
