    Hello,

Does anyone know why a 1095C would not print for an active employee.  The form printed in 2020 for this person.  I've looked at the 1095C edit window in edit W2 and there is information in the fields.

    Any assistance would be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Denise

    Denise,

I think if all the codes are 1H/2A, then the 1095 doesn't print.  Look at the codes, for that employee, to see if that is the issue.

    Hope that helps.

Hi Denise, if the employee has information, it should print.
Unless they are 2A for all year then that tells the system they were not an active employee.
I would edit the 1095 window make sure it is correct, then try to print for this employee again.

Here is my ACA blog for this year

The IRS released form changes late this year so we will have ACA form changes in the January Hotfix due to release on 1.21.2022.

For the 2021 year, the ACA form, 1095-C was published late and did not make it in the US Year-End Update in November 2021. The form and code changes will be in the January 2022 Hotfix due to release mid-January 2022.

Sorry to hijack this, but I have a related question

    @Terry Heley,
When the hot fix comes out, will we need to re-run our year end close to have the new forms applied?  I've run the year end payroll report and made the needed w2 changes and was going to do the tax update, but don't want to do that if I'm going to need to re-run the yearend file.
    Thanks!!

That is a great question, Teresa!
You will not be required to re-run the year end close, only if you needed too for ACA data
Otherwise, you can make ACA data edits too in the year end wage file, but I'm guessing yours are perfect :-)

    Thanks

Thanks for the confidence, but I'm thinking there are some adjustments to be made - next task.
Glad to hear I don't have to re-run the file.
Thanks for your quick response and all your help!!

    :)
