  • 1.  #Technical - integration manager to clear checks on reconcile bank statement

    Posted Dec 17, 2021 12:14 PM
I have an integration to load cleared checks.  I changed some of the columns on my csv file and now I am getting a warning "cleared amount cannot be less than 0 for line 1".  I have updated everything in the integration for the new columns.  Don't know where to look for this error message.  Any help would be much appreciated.

It would be helpful if you posted a screenshot of the column headers and the mapping.

Make sure you don't have any blank rows in the file.

A couple of things to check.  First, make sure that the integration is set to look at the first line in the file as headers rather than data.  Second, make sure that your data doesn't contain any empty rows - Integration Manager will stop at the first empty row.

For integrations, I prefer an intermediary ETL step where I have a separate process load the data into an SQL table and read the information directly from these tables.  This allows me to perform any data checking or transformations necessary in the ETL process so that I know the data being fed to the integration is solid.  Many of these I have built in Excel.  If you're interested in a sample, send me a private message and I can give you an example.
