    When entering a new sales order we are currently entering the requested ship date, but we would like to also include the estimated delivery date. Does anyone know if it's possible to add another date field in GP's Sales Transaction Entry that would allow us to enter both of these dates? We had previously been entering the estimated delivery date in a note window for each order, but we are finding this is both cumbersome and does not pull into some reports that we run.

    Hi Sarah,

    if you go under Sales / Setup / Sales Order Processing, you will find the area (under the button called "User Defined") where you can use pre-delivered user defined fields available in GP.  2 of these fields are Date fields (it is mentioned in front of them).

    Up to you to use these fields instead of comments.

    Just to give you the longest answer, here is, after you give a name to a user defined field, where you will get access to this field under Sales Entry :
