Report for Vendor volume

    I need a report to run that will give me transaction level info for Vendor Volume for a range of time

    Have you tried the Transaction by Vendor Inquiry under Purchasing?
    You can run the Inquiry by Vendor ID for a document date range.
    You can then select a transaction from the list returned and click the Document Number link to drill down to the Transaction Inquiry Zoom window,.

    I'd recommend a SmartList. I utilize one for a similar report for my auditors. I use a Payables Transaction SmartList that pulls in Vendor ID, Name, Document Type, Document Date, Document Number, Document Amount, Transaction Description (and add whatever else you need). I then choose Search and search the Document Date column for the date range I'm looking for. You could also do a filter on the Document Type column if you only wanted payments, or invoices, etc.

    I then dump the data into Excel and use a Pivot to summarize by Vendor ID to get totals.
