Management Report Drill Down with Hyperlink

We run a cost center report out of Report Designer that produces a hyperlink for our directors to view.  This report has drill down capabilities, but when you use the back arrow to get to the summary level on the main page it always goes back to the very top.  For example if I had drilled down at some expenses that were at the bottom of the summary level, when I would return to the main page it automatically goes to the top of the report and not to where I was at the bottom and then I have to scroll down and figure out where I was.

Our report drills in order of our segments, so it goes Summary Level --> Department Level --> Cost Center Level --> GL Level

There is a "Go To" button on the bottom right that is available from the main summary level screen that seems to take you back to the chosen section after drilling down, but we wanted to be able to go back to the same spot on the summary page and not have to change the "Go To" each time we go to another section.

Wanted to reach out and see if anyone else was having this problem or what possible solutions there are to fix it.

    Hi Thomas.

How about right-clicking once on the hyperlink and opening the drill-down details in a new tab or a new window. That way, your original report is still open in the other tab or window.

    Hi Noah,

Thank you!  This will definitely provide a solution that we can start with for people viewing the reports!
