  • 1.  2020 Tax Update NRA Tax Table -

NRAHR Fed tax table in GP appears to have incorrect tax amounts in column C . Employees are having an exaggerated federal tax withheld when they claim NRA and check box 2c. When running scenarios through online calculators and doing manual calculations based on IRS regs the results are within pennies but the results are not the same as GP real paycheck.

Example- $1880 taxable wages with $ 911.41 federal tax taken.

Can anyone confirm how the table tax in GP for NRAHR  reflect? Should the tax amounts in the GP NRAHR table reflect the IRS single or married filing jointly table? The tax update from year end has the table reflecting the same as the married filing jointly.

Has there been an update to the 2020 NRA tax table in Great Plains since the beginning of year?

    Hi Lorie,

This is how the table shows in our system.  Here is a link to the last update we did:  U.S. 2020 Payroll Tax Update.  Hope this helps!
