Great Plains SmartList reports

We recently went through an upgrade from an older version to the 2018 version of Great Plains. The SmartList reports I rely on disappeared and the explanation had something to do with "canned" reports vs reports created specifically for our company. The firm we work with on GP maintenance has been unable to duplicate the reports and I do not have access to "Designer". I am able to add columns to reports but not all of the choices are there. Has anyone had a similar problem and/or does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you

    Hi @Terri Regina

The SmartList's are kept in the database, if the DB was moved and upgraded correctly they would be there.

The ONLY other explanation is that you used to have SmartList BUILDER by eOne solutions installed and that has NOT been installed on the machine you are logging in to GP on.  They would show back up as soon as the BUILDER is installed.

Otherwise, your SmartLists should all be there and it is highly concerning that they are not.

Yes, I experienced it. After upgrade Smartlist Builder was not available to the user. So I created SQL views and added them through smartlist designer. you can do the same to have all the required data in your smartlist.
