Paid Time Off - Hours Worked

For our organization, PTO is accrued based on hours worked for full time employees.

The page Information about HR Accrual Types in Microsoft Dynamics GP says HOUR/YR accrual type should only be used for part time employees, so I started investigating what PTO Manager is capable of.

The documentation on PTO Manager (Range Based On: Hours Worked/Pay Period) looks like it is what we need, but it only gives an example for a part time employee. Will PTO Manager be able to calculate hours accrued for salaried and other full time employees based on the number of hours worked?

Also, since we'd like to avoid the cost of the Extended HR and Payroll pack, is it truly not possible to use the Starter pack HOUR/YR accrual type for full time employees?

    Thank you

If you are trying to look at hours worked in a pay period, then PTO Manager can do that accrual. It doesn't matter if the employee is salaried or hourly. If the employee is salaried, the hours worked will be based on the pay frequency and hours worked per year (employee maintenance) to get the hours for the pay period. 2080 hours worked per year/24 semimonthly pay periods will mean 86.67 hours worked for a salaried employee.
