Have not experienced any issues with PM Generation of new Service Calls using meters. The PM code hasn't changed in 20 years. GP9 to GP2018
Make sure all meter reading are posted BEFORE you run PM Generation.
I like to post meter readings normally around month end and then generate PMs around the 5th of the month.
The PM Event should be Fixed, frequency should be Every and Type is Meters for recurrent PMs.
If you are filing in a PM Month and Day on the Equipment instead of running off the install date that can make things less clear.
If you think something is wrong you could always do a Replacement on the meter and I would then reset the install date as well.
There are not many VARS that know how this works so if you have trouble I could refer you to a couple.

When trying to establish a best practice with how to utilize PM calls generated by meter readings, it seems to pick up on the calculated monthly totals as opposed to the actual readings.
Other then going custom and maybe using a stored proc to add PM schedules, has anybody found a workaround?
