Fiscal period

I was trying to create the first fiscal period for July in the 2019-2020 fiscal year. I accidentally hit "calculate". The system re-calculated 2019 in 7/1/19 - 7/31/19. Can this be reversed?
I was able to open 2019 and reset the periods to the correct dates(attached screenshot). But the "closed" tick marks are gone. Does anybody know if this will affect the posted bank reconciliation or month end closing that I have completed as of 5/31/2019? Is there any steps that I can do to make sure everything is fixed?
    This is urgent. Thanks!

Now every time I ran a report through Management Reporter, I got this error message. I ignored the error and ran the report regardless, the resulted report seems correct. Does anybody know how to make the error away? Thanks in advance.

    Answer:
Everything is okay.  Just change the year end date to what it needs to be, and RECALCULATE again. You can edit the individual period end dates if you need to.  And you merely need to check the boxes of whatever periods you want to "close", which means that you do not want users posting to that period from that module.  You can check and uncheck the boxes whenever you need to.

Thanks Bruce. Do you know how to get rid of the error message with Management Reporter?

I will let someone who uses MR answer that, but the message is a warning message rather than an error message, it is probably coming from the column specs, you just need to change the coding.

    Hi Yan,

I would recommend running the GL reconcile for your fiscal years, then rebuilding the Data Mart. When you change the period dates, it can confuse MR and rebuilding the data mart should correct the issue. SO:

    1. Backup ManagementReporter database and other company databases in SQL
    2. Run a reconcile in the general ledger. (Financial >> Utilities >> Financial >> Reconcile) this would re-calculate the summary for all your accounts, past and present.
    3. Rebuild your data mart.

Your partner can assist with step 3, if you have never performed a rebuild.

Thanks Mark! I will check out the Youtube tutorial and see if I can rebuild the data mart.
