    @Terry Heley,

    If I missed the announcement, please forgive the inquiry, but I have a couple of clients that are anxiously awaiting the YE Release for GP2016 so they can get the Word Templates issue resolved. Has there been an announcement on when that will be?

    Thank you for all that you do for the GPUG Community. You are such an awesome resource!

    Terry - I might have missed something, but did this also update Form 1096 to include the totals for 1099-NEC?  I haven't dug into it, but it does not appear to do so on my basic test install.  Or is that included in maybe the YE update?

    Thank you
    Doug

    Terry if I trust my experience this appears to be an instance where we should not expect updates from our ISV products prior to installing the update.  Is that correct?  Last year it took until almost January before the last of my ISVs got up to speed with that year-end, new procedure updates.

    Thanks for the question Jeff, I would say most ISV's should / try to be out 30 days after we release if not sooner.
    They know it is a critical time of year, with year end right around the corner, so they try to release as quick as they can.
    All ISV's are given an early drop of the code prior to us releasing so they are more prepared and can get their product ready to release quicker.
    I would hope we do not have to wait till January as that will not work if you need to install 1099 changes this year :-)

    Thanks
    Terry Heley, Microsoft
