Voiding Multiple Open Transactions

I have multiple open transactions for multiple vendors that I need to void. How do I void multiple transactions on multiple vendors at the same time? Can I do this in one big batch?

    Vicki,

I've never seen an option for voiding multiple items at once.

The only thing that I can think of is a macro. You'd need to fill in the Vendor ID and the Document Number fields. The document number would be the same.

Here are the steps the macro would use:
    1. Enter the Vendor ID.
    2. Enter the invoice number (in the From field)
    3. Enter the invoice number (in the To field)
    4. Mark the Void checkbox
    5. Click Process

    Repeat

I've attached a document on creating a macro.

    Hi Vicki,

I agree with @Charles Allen about using a macro, but would recommend using Replicator instead of Word.  Replicator a macro enabled Excel spreadsheet that I wrote a few years ago after getting frustrated with trying to do the mail merge with Word.   You can learn about it (and download it) from my website  Rnoldz.com.  The file "SYS09 - GP Macros - With great power comes great repeatability" is a PowerPoint slide show that I presented at Summit last year.  There is also a Replicator link at the top of the pages that will take you to the Replicator Page (Creating/Updating data in GP) where you can download the latest version of Replicator.xlsm.

    Good Luck & Have fun!

If you have any problems or questions, please let me know!
