    I am looking to automate the PO approval process by linking OutLook and Great Plains whereby the approvers receive email notifications to approve a purchase.

    I am trying to automate only a certain population of Purchase Orders (i.e., all inventory PO's, only).  Purchasing department does all the buying across all departments, which includes IT equipment or Non-Inventory PO's.  Is there a way to streamline the approval process for only inventory PO's?

    What is the integration process linking Outlook and GP?
