Depends what you mean by "automatic".  Use inventory/transactions/Stock Count Schedule to define various counts you want to do.  These can be based on a range of bins, item classes, ABC codes or even "next stock count date".  You indicate whether you want this to be a "one time" schedule (typically used in a multi-bin environment, in my experience) or if you want to re-use it.

The "next stock count date" is somewhat close to "automatic" but you need to pay attention to that setup using the "stock count" button on the Item Quantities Maintenance window.  (And for your date range, typically start with a date in the very past so you catch items that were not cycle counted when they should have been.)
