@Karl StadickWhen a year is closed in the Payroll module, Dynamics GP populates the Payroll Year-End Wage tables. The following tables are used to generate the Year-End Wage file to generate your W-2's and W-3.
Payroll Year-End Wage Tables used to Generate W-2 and W-3 (Company Database):
UPR10100 - Year-End Header
UPR10101 - Employee W-2 amounts
UPR10103 - Pension information
UPR10104 - Special amount information
UPR10105 - State tax information
UPR10106 - Local tax information
UPR10107 - Other amount information
To calculate the wages you should be able to take summary of pay codes that are NOT business expenses add in any taxable benefits and deduct any TSA deductions to get to your taxable wages as well. Keep in mind some TSA's are sheltered from ALL tax other from just Federal and State and not FICA. The UPR00900 table will show you how wages were computed as paid. W-2 is a calculation of sorts based on the items I mentioned.
I hope that helps.

Subject: W-2 Calculations
Hi!
I am looking for detailed information as to how the W-2 totals are calculated. Namely, what tables the system uses to calculate what ends up on the W-2's.
Thank you!
