Purchase Order buyerid missing

We have a user that recently started doing their own Purchase Orders.  For some reason her buyerid does not show up in the POP00100 table.

Here buyerid does not exist in the POP00101 table, so i'm guessing that's the root of the issue.  How do i get her information populated in that table?

    Hi @Andy Berntson,

It sounds like you may need to create the buyer ID?

To Create a new Buyer ID, please do the following:

1.) Open Purchase Order Entry window
2.) Click on "Buyer ID" field name.  A new window for Buyer Maintnenance will appear.
3.) Enter the Buyer ID and Description in the appropriate fields.
4.) Click "Insert" to add them to the list.

They will be able to assign their buyer ID moving forward.

Does that make sense?  If I'm misunderstanding the need or issue, please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Samantha

Thanks, I was able to populate the buyerid by doing that.  We haven't had to do that in the past, but it did the trick.  I'm assuming in can just go into the pop10100 table and populate the buyerid where it's missing?

    Hi @Andy Berntson,

You shouldn't have to go into the SQL Table unless the PO has closed which I wouldn't anticipate based on the fact that you're saying POP10100.

You should be able to pull up the PO in the Purchase Order Entry window and just select the newly created Buyer ID.

    Thanks,

    Samantha
