SUTA Summary Report for Multiple States

  • 1.  SUTA Summary Report for Multiple States

We branched out to a second state in April, which means a new SUTA quarterly report. I pulled the SUTA Summary Report in Period-End Payroll Reports. When the SUTA Summary runs it sorts by last name and therefore mixes up the 2 states. Is there a way to either sort by state or pull one state at a time? I can't imagine that this would not already be an option.

    Hi Stephanie,

The SUTA Summary report does first sort by state then name, giving you totals by state.  Are you sure you have the correct SUTA State code assigned in the Employee Pay Code Maintenance window?

I agree with Deborah on the sort, it should list all the employee in each state.
Verify you have the correct SUTA state and also you are printing the original report and not a modified version.

Here is my blog on SUTA information too if that helps, it talks about multiple sates and maximums for each.
