GPUG Site Disabled

For the past 2 days I have been unable to log into the GPUG site or reply to any posts.  There was a 'Site temporarily disabled' message with nothing about the reason or expected duration.  I created a support ticket and got no response, and nobody answered the phone.
In spite of the lip service DC is paying the legacy groups, it feels like things keep going down hill for this community and that is sad and unfortunate.

    Hi Lou

Usually the issue I have is logging in. It sometimes does not present the fields to login. Changing browser Edge <-> Chrome often fixes that.

Did not see any Site temporarily disabled messages.

    Regards

    David

Hi Lou, I saw the same 'Site temporarily disabled' message last week. My usual GoTo to try with IE or other browsers didn't work either.

However, I am able to log in with IE this morning so something was resolved, but it still doesn't like Edge.

While I haven't had any issues logging in (but don't do so as often as I used to), I just wanted to say that I truly miss the "user group" of the past.  The true change started when user groups were only allowed to have approved sponsors at their meetings and kept moving away from users' needs and toward a money-making model for Dynamic Communities.  There was a happy medium in there somewhere.  I understand that it takes money to maintain the forums, etc., but our user group meetings used to cost nothing.  I would find a sponsor for lunch (whether an ISV presenter, a partner, or just someone willing to host) or we would pay on our own.  It wasn't long before that model changed and only GPUG approved sponsors could pay for lunch and it had to be coordinated by GPUG instead of locally coordinated.  Gradually, it became more and more about what GPUG could control and charge for.  Now that GPUG doesn't even officially exist, neither does our local chapter (or whatever we're supposed to call it).  It's a shame.  I'm hoping to use my old contacts and start a true "user group" again in 2022.  One that exists for the sole purpose of educating users on what they want to hear.  Well - this will probably get me kicked off the site altogether, but it made me feel better.  :-)

    Hi David.
I did try both browsers and cleared cache and cookies on both.  I don't think it was only me as there was a sharp drop in activity on the forum after last Tuesday.
    Best,
