The Customer Inquiry (Sales>>Inquiry>>Customer) does not include payment terms unfortunately.
However, there are other options available. Off the top of my head...
1.) Sales>>Reports>>Customer Setup : this report can be run for a single customer or range of customers. It does include payment terms.
2.) SmartList>>Sales>>Customers>>* : this smartlist can have the Payment Terms added to it by going to Columns>>Add>Payment Terms ID
3.) You can always create a custom SmartList, Excel Report, SSRS, etc. if needed
4.) Depending on what all you want restricted from change, you could use Field Level Security or possibly GP Power Tools to require passwords before/after changes are made but before saved that way they can VIEW the card itself but can't make changes.
I'm sure there are additional options that I'm missing, but those are the ones that immediately come to mind.

We just implemented some custom security roles in Great Plains. We removed access to Cards for a lot of users so that they couldn't be modified by everyone. Is there a way to view Payment Terms for a specific customer with just Inquiry & Reports, rather than looking up through Cards?
