How to remove a vendor from 1099 list.

Hi @Nelly Manrique-Eells,

It depends what you mean by remove them from the 1099 list.  Do you mean moving forward only?  Or do you want to change all their​ previous activity as well?

If moving forward only - go to purchasing>>cards>>vendor.  Select your vendor, and then choose "Options".  Change the 1099 information as appropriate.  All past activity will stay as it was originally recorded.  All moving forward activity will be classified according to the new settings.

If you wish to change their past activity, there are two options.

1.) Purchasing>>Transactions>>Edit 1099 information.  This will let you edit specific transactions for that vendor.  This is a better solution if it's just one vendor and not ALL of the historical transactions need to be updated.  The link below walks through the process in a nice amount of detail.

2.) Purchasing>>Utilities>>Update 1099 Information - this will let you change vendor status and/or transactions en masse.  This options is helpful if you need to change the tax type for a lot of vendors or if you need to change ALL the transactions on a single vendor who has many transactions.  The link below walks through that particular utility so I'll reference it instead of reinventing the wheel with my own screenshots. :)

Do you know how to change the printing alignment of the 1099 NEC - when it prints from GP 2018 it will not align to the laser form.

Any suggestion on how to align or set the alignment of the form?​

Please advise.
