Negative Deductions posting to Arrears

I am trying to setup a wellness refund deduction to give employees money back on their insurance premiums when they meet certain criteria.  I have created a deduction code & entered it as a negative deduction.  It will process beautifully when the employee has a check.  But if they don't have any positive pay for the week & the deductions go to arrears it will not post the negative in arrears.  Is this a setting I can fix?  It does show in the mandatory arrears when I run it but when it posts it disappears.

    Thanks!

I could be wrong, but I do not believe that a negative deduction is fully supported for this type of transaction.
Hopefully Terry Haley - who will know - will see this post.

What I would do is pay the employee back with a pay code such as a business expense pay code. Then enter a manual check adjustment to remove the amount from the deduction. Both these transactions can be easily imported if you have a large set of employees.
