  • 1.  MR Report Disappearing

Hello,  intermittently I have a generated report disappear on me while I am viewing it and toggling between applications. Does anyone know what causes this?  It is a MR err msg, but for some reason it won't let me copy/paste on here so it states: "Object reference not set to an instance of an object"

    Thanks!

    Ronda,

You're using the Web Viewer, yes? That message is more of a web page error.

What version of MR are you using; that is, which CU version? How about your browser? IE? Chrome?

I too receive this MR Error.  I'm not using the Web Viewer and I am on the latest version available for Management Reporter

    Hi,

you may want to look into this KB from Microsoft:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/dynamics/gp/object-reference-not-set-to-instance-of-object-error-when-creating-report-in-management-reporter

The pop-up in MR isn't really of any use, you need to dig further into the Configuration Console of MR where you'll find the logs for MR, or use the windows event logs on the system application logs.

Here is another older blog post that might help if you can't fix it with the above link.
