Excel Life Hacks and GP Pain Relief

Our Thursday, Nov. 19th online GPUG Green Bay meeting from 9:00 to noon ( Register here ), is a great meeting for you and your co-workers who use Excel. That's, like, everybody, right? Microsoft MVP Shawn Dorward is joining us to give you a very nice rundown of Excel features. There are some useful features I guarantee that you won't have heard of that Shawn will show you. Everybody loves Excel and everybody loves to learn new Excel tricks. Shawn is about the most engaging and entertaining Excel guru you've ever heard of.

If you've already registered, tell your co-workers. Your GP membership allows anyone in your company to attend!

I'll also present a quick way for you to retrieve data from your GP SQL Server as long as you have permission to do so. It isn't for everybody, but I think it beats exporting SmartLists or using the built-in Excel Refreshable Reports in GP. Much more customizable... but, again, you need to have more direct access to SQL Server data. Check with your GP and SQL Admins! We'll upload my template to the GPUG Green Bay site for you to download and customize for your installation.

We're also going to devote the 2nd part of our meeting to GP issues that give you a bit of indigestion. Co-Chapter Leader, Pam Hall, works for the Terry Naturally company. One of their company promotional slogans is, "Got Pain?" (Conveniently enough, the initials are "GP". Who knew?) She and I and John Kirsch of Global Optics will have a free-form discussion of the things that people have trouble with in GP as well as some pain relievers! We want to know what gives you the pip about GP! Or if you have a solution to someone else's Pain Point, you may join in the discussion!

So go to the registration page and click the  Register Now  button. Join us for our Microsoft Teams meeting at 9:00 this Thursday, Nov. 19th!

    Sincerely,
