SmartList builder add table with links from two different tables

Caveat:  I am new to Dynamics GP (a couple weeks) and this is only day 2 of playing around with SmartList Builder.

I have created a new SmartList and it is going well so far.   However, I am experiencing duplicate rows in the result.   I could solve the problem if I could link to a table (in this case aaGLDist) with fields from both the parent table (in this case aaGLHdr) ***** AND ***** a second table higher in the hierarchy (in this case "Transaction Work" or "Transaction Amounts Work").   Is it possible to have the links come from different tables or will I have to deal with it from SQL?  (I don't currently have access to SQL and don't wish to ask for it currently.)

A screen shot of my SmartList Builder is below:

Note:  We are using Dynamics GP 2013 SP1 in case it has an influence on any recommendations/suggestions.

If you don't have access to SQL Server Management Studio, one thing you try within your SmartList builder is the SQL Script option. You can access this by clicking the "+" sign:

To see what SQL script has been created so far with the set up have outlined below, just click the Options menu and select "Display SQL":

From there you can see the SQL script, copy it out to Note Pad, create a new SmartList and use the SQL Script option. I would definitely leverage your GP Test environment first before doing this in production.
