Below are directions to the Dec 17 Massachusetts Chapter Meeting to be held at the United Way of Massachusetts Bay, 51 Sleeper Street, Boston. Hope to see you all there!
51 Sleeper Street is at the corner of Sleeper Street and Seaport Boulevard. We are directly across Seaport Boulevard from the Joseph Moakley Federal Courthouse, and on Sleeper Street diagonally behind the Boston Children's Museum. Directly in front of our building on Sleeper Street is a grassy park area and the Fort Point Channel.
Parking: Due to construction in the Seaport district, there may not be parking for your car in the vicinity of United Way's office. Please consider using public transportation. The MBTA Silver Line Courthouse Station is a 5 minute walk, South Station is a 15 minute walk to our office. The closest parking is at the Farnsworth Street Garage, 17 Farnsworth St, Boston, MA 02210 (617) 737-5400.
Public Transportation: Take the Red Line to South Station. You can either walk from South Station, or take the Silver Line.
Walking from South Station: Exit right onto Summer Street. Follow Summer Street to Dorchester Avenue, just before the bridge. Take a left onto Dorchester Avenue. Go one block. Take a right onto Congress Street and cross the channel. Take the first left onto Sleeper Street. 51 Sleeper Street will be the last building on your right. Time: 5 minutes.
Silver Line from South Station: Take the Outbound Silver Line bus one stop to Moakley Courthouse. Exit the T Station towards the Children's Museum and walk to the end of the street (toward the Moakley Bridge) and take the first left onto Sleeper Street. 51 is the first building on the left.
From the Mass Pike: Take 90 East to Exit #25 - South Boston. Bear left on the exit towards Seaport Boulevard. You will be on East Service Road. Go through one set of traffic lights. Take the next left onto Seaport Boulevard. At the next light take a left onto Sleeper Street. 51 is the first building on the left.
From the North on 93: Take I-93 South to Exit #23 - Purchase Street/South Station. Take a left at the first set of lights onto Seaport Blvd/Moakley Bridge. At the next set of lights, take a right onto Sleeper Street. 51 is the first building on the left.
From the South on 93: Take I-93 North to Exit #20 - I-90 / Logan Airport / Worcester / South Station. Take the I-90E exit on the left toward Logan Airport / South Boston. Keep right at the first fork in the ramp, and then left at the second fork. Stay straight onto E. Service Road, which becomes Northern Avenue. Turn left onto Sleeper Street. 51 is the first building on the left.
