Partner Sales/Marketing Pre-Day | Q&A with Instructor Mary Miller

The Partner Sales and Marketing Pre-Day at GPUG Amplify will have 20 educational sessions, led by Microsoft employees and expert Dynamics GP Partners (Click here to view the agenda). One of such presenters is Mary Miller, Director of Marketing at ImageTag.

With 20 years of B2B technology marketing experience, Mary sparks motivation with a “lead by example” approach. As the director of marketing for ImageTag, Mary is responsible for all marketing programs from the website to partner marketing strategies. Her goal at ImageTag is to share the KwikTag One System message (manage any document, in any department, in any process) with customers and partners alike and is most excited when they share it with others.

GPUG sat down with Mary for the inside scoop on her session at the Partner Sales and Marketing Pre-Day:

Q: Please share a “golden nugget” you hope attendees will take away from your session, "Client Communication: A Best Practices Panel."

A: I’ll share with you the least expensive and most effective way to reach your website visitors.

Q: What job roles will benefit most from your session?
A: Sales and marketing directors and marketing managers. The examples and metrics I’ll share are most applicable for those responsible for demand generation and customer/prospect engagement.

Q: Aside from speaking, what you are most looking forward to about being part of the Partner Sales and Marketing Pre-Day?
A: Hearing the challenges and successes of other marketers, learning what our partners’ marketing goals are, and how we can work together to fill the gaps.

Q: What’s on your personal conference agenda? 
A: I don’t want to miss any of the Pre-Day sessions! I’m always looking to learn what’s working and what’s not for my peers in our market.

During the main conference event (GPUG Amplify), I plan to attend the Executive/Leadership track sessions (click here to browse the agenda by track) and a few GP-specific product sessions where I can fit them in.

Q: What is your best advice for Partners attending the Partner Sales and Marketing Pre-Day at GPUG Amplify?
A: Come with an open mind and be prepared to adapt to the changes in the world of marketing, learn to separate what’s real versus fad, and leave ready to apply at least one new tip that can help grow your business.

Q: What are you most looking forward to about visiting Anaheim, CA?
A: The ocean breeze… (not that I’ll have time to get there!)
