Newsworthy items to wrap up 2018

Before another year wraps up (days are often long, but years are frequently short), I've compiled this brief blog post to update our fabulous #GPUG membership on a couple of important items we've made decisions on so as to keep everyone up-to-date on where we're at with your favorite User Group.

  • We've decided to shelve our spring event, 'GPUG Amplify', going forward.  There simply isn't enough development coming from our friends in #FabulousFargo pertaining to Dynamics GP each year to support having two separate events on the North American continent.  That stated, GPUG Summit is now THE annual Dynamics GP event in North America and everyone can officially plan to be in Orlando during mid-October for our 13th annual flagship event.   Please continue to visit www.gpugsummit.com for regular updates as all information about this event will always be posted here.  Also, please note that this decision has NO bearing whatsoever on our annual event in Johannesburg, which we plan to grow in June of 2019...more detail on that coming in the new year, and I can't wait to get there myself this time!
  • Our membership website, www.gpug.com, is officially getting a refresh!  Look for a brand new #GPUG dot com to arrive this month - a new, fresh look, better search mechanism, streamlined grouping of all our content/file downloads, and absolutely everything you need to maximize your membership.  Our web team has been hard at work lately to make this a reality, and before the new year arrives on your calendar, a new www.gpug.com will arrive in your browser - keep an eye out for this refresh in the coming days!

On behalf of everyone at #TeamGPUG, I'd like to wish everyone a joyful holiday season and a prosperous new year.  Thanks for all of your support!

The GPUG site has improved steadily over the years I've been using it. It's at least 3 times nicer than it was in 2014!

I'm looking forward to the refresh!
