GPUG SIG - Enterprise/International Installations (April 2010)
Wanting to network and share experiences with other larger Dynamics GP installations, including possibly multi-site and/or global deployments? If so, the GPUG Enterprise/International Installations SIG is for you! This is an open event and all GPUG members are invited to attend.

Does your company currently deploy Dynamics GP with a user base of over 50 users? Is your company global and running GP in more than one country? If so, please plan on participating in the next webinar meeting of the GPUG Special Interest Group (SIG) for Enterprise/International GP Installations. Share your experiences with other large scale GP installations and how your company has addresses challenges with operating GP on a large scale and/or on a multi-country scale. Come prepared to share with others your experiences and in turn listen as fellow GP users share their knowledge around their own larger and/or international GP installs.
This month's webinar will focus on the challenges companies face operating in a multi-country environment. Included will be a presentation of a tool from Tensoft and their product Multi-National Consolidations(MNC). This product eliminates the frustrations and errors customers have using the FRx Multi-Currency Translator module. MNC creates a US dollar equivalent for all foreign entities and stores the exchange values and valuations within the GP SQL tables. Consolidations in FRx are then completed and everything becomes very straight forward.
After this presentation an open Q&A session around accounting for global operations in Dynamics GP will take place. Feel free to bring your questions, comments, or experiences to share with your fellow GP enterprise and international GP installations.
GPUG SIGs are designed to get GP users together in a discussion format where approaches, ideas, and lessons learned can be shared around a set topic. SIGs are scheduled several times a year and are driven by the membership in terms of specific areas to cover in each program.
