At the request of our Canadian GPUG members, we've assembled this class just for you. Come get your questions answered and your issues addressed around payroll in Dynamics GP. We'll not only cover the functions and features to make sure you're aware of what's available and the best method to leverage, but also typical pain points and tips for smoother processing with less error. This couse will appeal to users who are familiar with Canadian Payroll and looking for alternative solutions to end user problems, as well as those not yet using payroll and evaluating if it will work for you. You will receive an "electronic book" of solutions reviewed.

- Jewels in the Control Window
- Changing Statutory distributions (using more than one account)
- GST/RST calculations
- Employee Receivables
- Vacation accrual and pooling; Accruing and/or paying units once a year
- Mass Paycode updates
- Using Rate Tables
- The many ways to enter different data

Audience: All levels of Dynamics GP Canadian Payroll users, or those evaluating using Dynamics GP Payroll
Level: Intermediate
Prerequisites: Functional knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP Payroll
Preparation: The detailed instructions for connecting and attending the class will be sent one to two days prior to class. Students have the option of connecting to the class via conference call or VOIP. If using VOIP, a headset with a microphone is strongly recommended. You are welcome to access your own test environment during the class to apply the learning immediately; a dual monitor is strongly recommended to facilitate navigation.
Delivery Method: Group Internet-based
CPE Credits: Earn up to 6 CPE credits. Please request credit via the class survey, which will be distributed after the class. Class participation will be monitored and you will not receive CPE credit for any portion of the class that you do not appear fully engaged.

Classes are conducted with a combination of a conference call/VOIP, and a remote desktop connection.
